About Dr Lisa
As well has understanding stepfamilies first hand, Lisa has spent many years researching stepfamilies as a psychologist. Her most recent research with stepmums involved over 250 women and is the most comprehensive study of it's kind ever to be conducted.
Lisa has used the findings from this research to help develop the stepfamily workshops. She is currently working with local councils to deliver the courses around the country.
Her book entitled 'How to be a Happy Stepmum' is full of helpful advice and tips on how to become more confident and relaxed in your stepfamily.
In addition to running Happy Steps, Lisa is an associate at Thames Valley University where she continues to conduct research on stepfamilies.
