| Train the Trainer Course Description
This course is intended for individuals who wish to deliver the Happy Steps steparenting course. Participants should ideally have previous experience of delivering parenting programmes and/or a training background. It is also preferable that they have firsthand knowledge of stepfamily issues. The course is delivered over 2 days which do not have to be consecutive. Participants are given a comprehensive understanding of the Happy Steps stepparenting course material, including a detailed knowledge of the theoretical basis underpinning the Happy Steps courses. The course also includes an accreditation component, with participants expected to pass a written exam and give a short presentation of some of the material. The course is suitable for individuals who wish to become accredited partners of Happy Steps and organisations or charities who want to be able to deliver Happy Steps in their own region or area.
